36th South Coast Geological Society Weekend Field Trip

Come to explore San Gabriel Mountains!

From Mount Baldy trough Cajon Pass, San Andreas Fault Zone and Mormon rocks to the Nortern Slopes of San Gabriel Montains.

Stops will include:

The Longest Single Span Precast Bridge in California on State Rout 2 on the Northern Slopes of San Gabriel Mountain.

Visiting the US National Forest Station at Mount Baldy Village and learn about geology and mining history of Mount Baldy

Camp at the Mount Baldy RV Park located under the Baldy Peak and enjoy the breathtaking view

Uncover the geologic history of Mormon Rocks State Park

Additional stops at San Antonio Dam, San Andreas Fault Zone, Cajon Pass, and Grassy Hollow Visitor Center.
